Our approach to wedding design emphasizes seasonal beauty, with a particular focus on the cohesive presentation of the overall event.

Start by filling out our enquiry form below so we can discuss details about your vision. Once you share what you'll require for your big day, we will provide you with an estimate, and to secure your date you'll just sign a contract and pay a retainer.

While I love to gather inspiration from your venue and your season, my favourite way to gather inspiration is from getting to know you as a couple! I love to see couples bring unique inspiration to our consultations, maybe that's a famous garden that you've always had a painting of on your living room wall, or the architecture in the streets of renaissance Florence that you've been drawn to since your last vacation. Some of my favourite inspiration isn't floral based at all, but gives me insight on who my couple is and what they need for their special day. Feel free to also include a link to your Pinterest board so I can see exactly what you're dreaming of!

We understand that at early stages of wedding planning you may not know exactly what you need and that's okay! Once you've booked with us, you're free to (and encouraged to) change things around as you please, adjust quantities and tailor the design style.

Embracing the seasons and choosing blooms specific to your wedding month is one way I stay authentic in my designs.

Local flower availability changes almost daily in the warmer months, and there's nothing that excites me more than walking out to the garden and seeing what delicate fillers I can add to your bridal bouquet.

Maybe it's something that surprised me by blooming overnight, or maybe it's something I planted with your wedding in mind and have been frantically watching the weather to get the bloom time to line up perfectly with your wedding day.

This mid-September bridal bouquet featured my very own cosmos and hydrangea, along with clusters of chive flowers that I always seem to forget about until I see them blooming. I planted chives years ago and at the time didn't even know I'd have these tiny white flowers as a bonus!

The fluffy lisianthus really are the star of the show in this white bridal bouquet, and I have @heirloomheather to thank for those!

There is nothing I love more than seeing flowers I grew myself in the hands of a beautiful bride on her wedding day!

August weddings are extra special for me because my garden is in full bloom, dahlias and cosmos are at their peak and I try to include them in all my late summer weddings.

This bouquet also featured 'snow on the mountain' euphorbia and I can't get enough of the delicate, variegated foliage. I will definitely be growing that again next season!

The first of October marks a special day for me- we are celebrating our second wedding anniversary!

Hard to believe this beautiful day was already two years ago, and how much fun it's been reminiscing on the joy and excitement of celebrating with friends and family on that perfect day.

The best blooms that late spring has to offer, all wrapped up in a bridal bouquet 🤍

I've said it before, but late spring has got to be my favourite season for wedding flowers. The last couple weeks of May and the first couple weeks of June truly are magical when you have such an abundance of local beauty to work with.

Breanne's bridal bouquet featured calla lilies and tulips with delicate accents including lily of the valley and wild anenome that I actually found growing in my own yard!

This bouquet wouldn't have been possible any other time of year, which is why I always suggest choosing seasonal blooms to make your bridal bouquet that much more special.

Updates for 2025 bookings⤵️
Next wedding season is already shaping up to be a busy one, so for engaged couples looking at wedding dates, here what I have still available:

My wedding season in Ontario will start in May as I will be spending early spring in Italy for 2025.
I do still have some available weekends in May, but they're booking quickly!

June still has good availability for weekend wedding dates, one of my favourite months for local Ontario blooms (hello peonies!) I'm looking to fill this month completely so June couples- introduce yourselves!

July and August will likely be a bit of back and forth between Ontario and Italy so if you have a date in mind for next summer, don't wait to reach out- my travel schedule will be based on the bookings that come in so the sooner you send me an enquiry the better my availability will be!

There is nothing quite like autumn in Ontario so I am looking to fill September and the first half of October with bookings- this season is already proving to be popular and I am SO excited about the weddings planned for the fall, I love choosing what dahlias to plant based on the wedding palettes of my September and October couples!

And of course, I am also booking smaller events including elopements and micro weddings, but this availability depends on my surrounding full service wedding schedule.

I can't get enough of the backyard blooms this time of year. Seems like it wasn't that long ago when I was starting my seeds in March when there was still snow on the ground. The season goes way too fast, and I'm constantly reminding myself to stop and enjoy it before it's gone.

Sunflowers are a sign that midsummer is here and autumn is just around the corner, so let this be your sign to enjoy these weeks of hot days and cooler nights before we start seeing the leaves changing.

What if I told you the roses used for your wedding day were a week old?

This is actually how I ensure your roses look their best!

When I first get my roses in, the petals are very tight and can even look squished. They've come a long way and are packed tightly to protect them in transit.

Once I clean them and they're left out of the cooler to warm up, the petals blow open beautifully! By day four some of these almost look like a completely different flower!

As with all event design, we want the flowers to be at their peak bloom during the event. That may mean they only last a couple days following the event. Event flowers aren't designed to last, they're designed to make an impact during the event!

These roses in particular change in colour slightly as the days go on, something I love about these varieties is you never know what you're going to get!

Favourite part of the wedding day? Dropping off the bouquets 🤍 I feel like this is the moment for a lot of brides where it hits them, I'm getting married today! Those sweet mornings make me so grateful to work in the wedding industry and be surrounded by such joyful memory making.

Wedding portraits on the University of Toronto campus are extra special for a couple reasons, not only is it a stunningly romantic setting but I actually first met this beautiful bride and groom when we all went to U of T together! (It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that was 10 years ago!)
It was such an honour to do the flowers for Jamie and Adrian's big day, especially because they were the musicians for my own wedding ceremony. They are two of the kindest people around and their smiles on their special day tells you just how perfect of a couple they are.

Calling all peony lovers- the season has begun!

We've got an early start this year due to the warm spring we've had here in southern Ontario, and I'm sure many of you are seeing your backyard peony bushes with buds about to bloom!

The secret to longer lasting peonies is to cut them when the buds are in the marshmallow stage, meaning when you give the buds a little squeeze, they're soft like a marshmallow.

Cutting them when the blooms are too open gives you only a short time to enjoy them once cut, and cutting them when the buds are still tight means they likely won't open up in your vase. When picked during the marshmallow stage, you'll get the longest vase life!

The best time of day to cut from your peony bush first thing in the morning, this will also help ensure your blooms are longer lasting.

You'll see me posting plenty of peonies from my favourite local farms over the next few weeks, and I can't wait to share!

I will always tell couples it's best to minimize the personal florals (think fewer family corsages and boutonnieres) and maximize the focal points (think abundant sweetheart table installations and ceremony features).

A question I get asked more than anything else- what's in season?

Take a walk or a drive in your neighbourhood and you'll certainly see front yards with daffodils, tulips and hyacinths beginning to bloom. Unless you're like me and the deer got to your tulips earlier this spring 🥹

If there's one reel I wish you could smell, it's this one. The citrus blossoms filled the air with the sweetest scent in the mornings and evenings, it's hard not to love spring in Southern Italy.
